“ Great price for very good tasting tacos. It is authentic, the majority of the patrons are Mexican, so you know that what they serve is the real deal. You can't beat their daily tacos and a drink combo ”
“ Tacos here are so good! Glad to come here with a fellow yelper who frequents this place. I love carne asada the most, carnitas second. Such an affordable place and food was prepared fast. ”
“ Stopped at this spot from a friends recommendation and man was it . The street tacos are amazing and the homemade salsa was so flavorful. Hit this spot up if you're in the area. ”
“ This place served up some of the best tacos I've ever eaten. I highly recommend the carnitas and pastor tacos. I also tried the asada taco and it was delish but I just enjoyed the carnitas and pastor especially much. Their horchata was also very yummy. The service was also very friendly and fast. The restaurant was clean and the people who ate there all looked like regulars. This is a no-frills spot for fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced food. I will for sure be coming back again and again and telling all my friends about it. ”
“ Absolutely delicious, clean, authentic Mexican food, pleasant staff. We ordered tacos and they were amazing, especially the al pastor. The price was very reasonable. This will be a weekly stop for sure! ”
“ The food never disappoints. Good service but I am missing the pre inflation prices, but still a good value relative to every other restaurant who had to raise their prices. I still come here anyway and recommend. ”
“ Strip mall tacos! I am a long time fan of El Rey De Oros. Sadly I don't visit as often since they moved from SLC to the burbs. Even with the move their food is still excellent. My go to is tacos al pastor. But the carne asada is great as well. The house salsa has a nice kick but isn't overly hot. Nothing is overly expensive. I like the combo plate that comes with a sope, taco and burrito. Service is very friendly. The cashier is the same woman from the old location. She speaks fluent English and Spanish. The dining room is showing its age. ”
“ My friend and I thought the tacos were pretty good. I was surprised that I really liked the carrots. My friend LOVED his dulce de leche churro and I was jealous. ”
“ The tacos are inexpensive, delicious (just go ahead and only get the asada), and greasy, like they should be! I found my favorite nearby spot. ”
“ When you show up to an eatery on a weekday at dinner time and it's packed, you know you found a good spot. A friend at work told us to come here because it's the best street Mexican around. She was right. The nachos are piled high with goodness and sides of guacamole (spicy) & hot sauce (didn't try). What we noticed that's different with these nachos are the grilled onions... makes a HUGE difference in overall taste in each bite! We were told to try the pozole, which was at almost every table this night. It hits the spot on a cold March night. Served with chopped onion, lettuce, and radishes plus lime wedge and tortilla chips (light and nicely corn flavored). The pork is tender and hominy the right bite. There are lots of meats to choose from (the wall menu has the Mexican word on the left and the English translation on the right), so we tried as many as we care for and liked them all. Juicy, tender, and tasty. Jamaica isn't always on tap, tonight it was pineapple juice, so I'll have to call ahead and try Jamaica another time. Too bad the bar next door means that the outside smokers hang out under the overhang (not at least 25' away like they're supposed to), so every time the restaurant door opens, gross cigarette smell wafts inside and stays awhile... until the door gets opened again and the smell permeates the dining area some more. Sigh. ”
